Stuffed Mushrooms

This recipe can be used for an easy starter to a meal or served as a vegetable as part of a main meal.

6 Large Flat mushrooms

1 onion 

¼ cup almonds

2 Tbsp tomato sauce or chutney 

1 thick slice bread (brown)

1 Tbsp oil 

Prepare mushrooms by removing stems and wiping.

Combine remaining ingredients in food processor and chop finely or chop by hand.

Place mushrooms in ovenproof dish and spoon mixture over mushrooms.

Place on middle shelf of oven and cook under a hot grill for 8 minutes or until cooked.
