Hummus
2 cups cooked chickpeas, drained (2 x 300g cans)
2 Tbsp tahini
2 Tbsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp Greek olive spread (or mashed black olives)
2 tsp crushed garlic
Mash chickpeas to form a coarse puree – use a food processor if
available.
Add remaining ingredients and stir together until well combined
Serve with bread or crackers or use to spread on bread instead of margarine.
